Announcing a playlist of punk rock-themed episodes
When I started Get the Picture Podcast, as well as my previous podcast, Red Lens, my goal was to share information that can help photographers learn and grow in their photography.
So I’ve done episodes introducing the basics of several types of photography, and in each episode I encourage my guests to share their best ideas and tips that would be helpful for people interested in growing in their photography.
I didn’t set out to interview a bunch of punk rock photographers. But I know a bunch of punk rock photographers. So naturally as I look around at people I know and at what the algorithm feeds me for who I can interview, I see a lot of content from punk rock photographers.
As I look back at the episodes I’ve done so far, I can now see that I’ve interviewed a bunch of kick-ass punk rock photographers.
Rather than forcing people to figure that out on their own by excavating long-buried episodes and putting together the disparate pieces like a complex puzzle, which approximately zero people will do, I wanted to do the heavy lifting and put together some of my similarly-themed content in one convenient place for you!
To do that, I've created a snazzy YouTube playlist that gathers these interviews together as a series, for your listening convenience. Now, if you want to spend some quality time with punk rock photographers, I’ve got you covered! You're welcome!
And now with this post, I’m alerting the whole internet to the playlist’s existence.
The playlist currently has 12 interviews, most of which are around an hour long. I'll add any hypothetical future punk-themed interviews to the playlist too. And I should note that some of the other photographers I’ve interviewed that aren't included on this playlist are also aficionados of punk rock music of one variant or another, but we didn't really talk about that in those interviews so I didn’t include them on this playlist.
